| Clinician: | Madeline Bridges Madeline Bridges serves as Associate Dean for Academic Studies for the School of Music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she teaches Music Education and oversees the academic preparation of over 500 music majors. Dr. Bridges is also co-diresctor of the Nashville Children's Choir Program, which includes four choirs with a total enrollment of over 180 choristers. She is Past President of the Choristers Guild National Board of Directors. Madeline has thirty years experience as a director of children's and youth choirs. She has taught music and music education in classrooms from kindergarten through graduate level. Dr. Bridges is currently the director of children's choirs at Second Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennesee |

| Sharon Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund: Sharon Hall was a Children's Choir Director at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, a charter member of the Central Florida Chapter of Choristers Guild. After her death in 1996, the Central Florida Chapter of Choristers Guild established the Sharon Hall Scholarship Fund to honor Mrs. Hall's commitment to, enthusiam for and love of children and music. The scholarship fund will cover festival registration fees for choristers and/or directors in financial need. Festival Information Updates:If you plan to attend the festival please be sure Bonnie Litteral has your current e-mail address. Click here. to send this information. Also include a valid e-mail address on the Registration Form if you would like confirmation of your registration. You will receive schedules, name tags, and class assignments when you arrive on February 27, 2010. Permission Form:A permission form must be filled out for each chorister and turned into the festival registrar before name tags and schedules will be given out on the morning of the festival. This is to ensure safety of the children in case there is an emergency and the director cannot be immediately located. A form can be found by clicking the Permission Form Button on the bottom of this page. We also ask that each church have an emergency person at home(someone that can be called and who will contact the rest of the parents in case of an emergency). Travel Directions to First United Methodist Church of Winter ParkPlease do not use GPS, Google, or Mapquest but rather follow the directions below. Note: Allow extra time because parking may be tight. 125 N Interlachen Ave. From Tampa and Southwest Coast Areas: Take I-4 E toward Downtown Orlando to Exit 87 (Fairbanks Ave/ SR 426). Turn right onto Fairbanks Ave/ SR 426 toward Winter Park. Turn left onto S. Park Ave. Turn right onto Morse Blvd. Turn left onto Interlachen Ave. Parking lot is across from church. Housing:A block of rooms is reserved for Friday night, February 26, at the Comfort Suites Downtown Orlando, 2416 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32804. (1-877-228-4007). Ask for the Choristers Guild rate. Rooms have two queen size beds or one king size bed. Room rate is $79.99 plus tax. The tax should be able to be avoided if you bring a copy of the church's tax exempt letter and pay with a church check or church credit card. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Primary Schedule:Please note that the schedule for primary choir singers starts at 12:15 pm. A room with supplies for various activites for primary choristers will be available in the morning; however, each choir must have adults supervising their primaries until the start of the first rehearsal at 12:30. If you want primary choristers to be included in the lunch count please register them as "Full Day Primaries" on the Registration Form Enrollment Summary. | ||||||||
